Little League Hawaii District 4’s regular season has come to a close, and thus begins the postseason.

Starting this weekend, baseball teams from the Hilo, Ka‘u, West Hawaii and North Hawaii leagues will compete against each other in all-star tournaments — with the winners advancing to the state championship.

The action will begin Saturday morning at Walter Victor Baseball Complex with the 50/70 (Intermediate) Division tournament — a two-team, double-elimination bracket consisting of Hilo and West Hawaii.

At noon, also at Walter Victor, the Junior Division tournament will begin.

It will also consist of two teams, Hilo and a combined team of players from the other three districts.

One week later, the Major Division softball all-star tournament will take place at Walter Victor — in which the Hilo and Gold Coast leagues will face off.

The baseball 8-9-10 Division tournament will begin June 30 at Honokaa Sports Complex. This will be one of the larger tourneys, with All-Star teams representing Hilo, West Hawaii, North Hawaii and Ka‘u.

The final tourney will be the Majors Division baseball tournament, which starts July 7. This will also host teams from all four leagues, and will be held at Walter Victor.

That same day at Walter Victor, the winners of District 4’s softball Major Division tournament will play against the winners from Hawaii District 6 in the State Championship.
